This is a good sword It is well built. The blade is heavy and powerful it also came to me razor sharp. The customer service is very good as well I had one small issue and they solved the problem right away. I will b getting another sword from them in the future.

i love this blade it came sharp and ready to cut the look the the sword is beautiful im really happy with it the only thing is it saying united cutlery on the blade butt other then that is nice

Not going to lie I expect this to be a complete s*** of a blade. Meaning like the cheap ones you get, were the blade rattles, you can remove everything with a single bolt, welded together on some little piece of metal, duller than a butter knife, rusty, easily bend, etc. This has been everything that but that, I was SHOCKED! Put together properly, not a single rattle sound, blade fit into the sheath, has a smooth unsheathing to it as well. Taking it apart was a little tough to how tightly the handle was fitted, which is good.The blade held up well against my friend’s $1k Bungei sword, yes I compared a cheap Amazon sword to the glory of Bungei scream at me all you want.

This sword is tough! Because the material it is made out of is polypropylene instead of traditional wood, it is a lot more flexible when it comes into impact with something solid. This means there is a less likely hood of chipping or shattering after many uses. Do not let that fool you; however, because if you were to swing this at something, it will still do a lot of damage because while Polypropylene is „flexible,“ it is still very tough.

Excellent training value for your $$. I own several of these. They are basically unbreakable, unlike oak or kamagong wood bokken, of which I have broken many. These polypro bokken are not as rigid as wood, so be aware of that. Also you’ll want to put tape on the grip area, the polypro gets slippery when you’re training and your hands are sweaty.

Increcibly Bokken. The weight was light but still felt strong. I’m a new learner to kenjustu and I would have to say that this sword will do you well in training.

This sword is very nice and sharp, it is so sharp that I cut through six cans of tea in the same time! It is worth it and always remember to keep it oiled because it will rust other than that is is a very beautiful piece of art I highly recommend this katana

My son loves to collect these, we gave it to him for Xmas and he loves it. Of course we do control when and how he handles it. He shows it off to all his friends. Great addition to his collection

These are great practice swords. I’ve been using them for full contact sparring for months now. The only thing I’ve noticed is the hand guards tend to loosen relatively easily during hard strikes. Not really an issue. After using traditional wooden bokken for years, I’m never going back. I don’t know why they’re so expensive all of a sudden.

It sits proudly on my head board unless I am practicing with it. Well balanced and constructed. I bought it used and have no complaints. Cold Steel makes good stuff, if only it was made in the USA it would be better.

this is a great looking sword and based on the sword alone it was good. Mine got damaged in shipping because the box it was shipped in was too small, so the hilt end is „rubbed“ and the blade is very difficult to get out of the scabbard. I hope that they can fix this for me. If they can, then i’d change this to a 5 star. 🙂

This is not true. You can see the continuation of the Damascus lines where the blade has been sharpened.
